The 3rd Annual Drew Shelton Impact Camp will be held on July 11 at Downingtown West High School, continuing a community-driven tradition founded by Downingtown native and Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Drew Shelton.
The Impact Camp has become one of the region’s premier youth football and development events, bringing together local athletes, coaches, families, and community leaders for a free, high-energy experience focused on skill development, mentorship, and youth opportunity across Chester County and the Downingtown area.
This year’s camp will once again feature hands-on coaching, position-specific football instruction, speed and agility training stations, and leadership development programming designed to support both athletic and personal growth. The event continues its tradition of being fully free to participants, with strong community support helping provide meals, resources, and a positive environment for all attendees.
Past camps have included coaching from local football standouts and former athletes, along with community partners providing food and support from organizations such as Chick-fil-A. The event continues to grow in scale and impact each year, reinforcing its mission of giving back to the next generation.
A key leader supporting the execution and continued growth of the camp is sports executive Pat Waters, President and CEO of Strategic Sports Marketing (SSM). Waters brings more than 25 years of experience in sports marketing, athlete management, and large-scale event production, having previously served as COO of BC Sports. Strategic Sports Marketing (SSM) is a nationally recognized leader in sports marketing, branding, and athlete experiences, with more than 10,000 events executed. The organization specializes in athlete activations, memorabilia programs, brand partnerships, and customized community experiences.
