It’s time to get crackin’ because Crab Fest is coming back to Crop’s Fresh Marketplace!
On Saturday, August 15, Crop’s will once again team up with Harris Crab Co. for a full day of fresh Maryland Blue Crabs, steamed right on the front porch of the local, third-generation grocery store at 1257 Horseshoe Pike in Downingtown.
Whether you’re picking up live crabs to take home or digging into a batch that’s hot and freshly steamed, Crop’s Crab Fest is bringing plenty of summer flavor to East Brandywine. Harris Crab Co. will be steaming fresh Maryland Blue Crabs on-site throughout the day, so you can watch your dinner go from the steamer to the table.
Of course, not everyone in your crew may be crab crazy. No problem. Crop’s has plenty of options to keep the whole family happy, including its famous fried chicken, homemade sides, fresh corn, watermelon and all the cookout favorites you need to build a serious summer spread.
It’s the kind of meal where everyone can grab what they love, gather around the table and enjoy a little taste of summer right here in the community.
As a third-generation family-owned grocery store, Crop’s Fresh Marketplace has been serving the local community for generations. Crab Fest is another chance to bring neighbors together, support a local business and enjoy a summer tradition that’s pretty hard to beat.
So mark your calendar, bring your appetite and prepare to shell-ebrate.
