Downingtown Good Neighbor Christmas Parade Returns This Weekend with Holiday Cheer

Dec 10, 2025 | 19335, Downtown, Events

The annual Downingtown Good Neighbor Christmas Parade will make its return this weekend on Saturday, December 13. The parade will begin a 3 PM and will run along Lancaster Avenue, starting at Gable Avenue in the west and ending at Green Street in the east.

Bring your children, family, and friends for an afternoon of holiday cheer. The parade will feature festive floats, bands, walking groups, dance groups, antique cars, local firetrucks, and Santa Claus.

The 2025 Parade Grand Marshal is Charles “Bud” W. Bruton, Jr., a dedicated member of the community, founder of Emeritus of Bruton Chisnell Advisors, and Vietnam veteran.

The Good Neighbor Christmas Parade is a great showing of what it means to be apart of Downingtown, a community that prides itself on tradition, kindness, and that special small-town charm. Neighbors line the streets year after year not just to celebrate the season, but to celebrate each other—creating an atmosphere filled with holiday joy.

Residents are encouraged to arrive early, bundle up, and enjoy one of Downingtown’s most beloved annual events.
