Earth Day, celebrated each year on April 22, is a worldwide event that aims to raise awareness about our planet and the environmental impact on it. Have you thought about how you will support this global initiative for 2025?
Dine and donate! Enjoy a meal at the Downingtown Texas Roadhouse and a portion of sales will be donated to Restore Our Roots. Don’t forget to mention them when you start your meal!
Restore Our Roots is a grassroots movement in Downingtown, with the goal of connecting residents with nature by planting native flora and beautifying our local parks.
The Dine to Donate at Texas Roadhouse will specifically benefit Johnsontown Park. Restore Our Roots is raising funds to plant pollinator gardens there.
“Imagine walking in the park, seeing beautiful butterflies, happy bees, and a colorful palette of powerful pollinator-supporting plants!” the team said via their website.
10% of Earth Day sales will go towards Restore Our Roots.
This Earth Day, let’s get to eating to help fund the future of Downingtown’s green spaces!
