Kiddie Academy of Downingtown is giving local families the chance to explore hands-on learning in an engaging, kid-friendly environment at an upcoming STEM-themed open house.
The one-day “STEM Adventures Open House” will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the academy’s location on Bell Tavern Boulevard. The free event is designed to introduce children and their families to interactive activities centered around science, technology, engineering, and math—core elements of the academy’s educational approach.
Organizers say the open house will feature a variety of hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. From simple experiments to engaging demonstrations, the goal is to make learning both accessible and exciting for young learners.
The event also offers an opportunity for parents to tour the facility, meet staff, and learn more about the academy’s curriculum and programs. As demand continues to grow for early childhood education that blends academics with play-based discovery, events like this aim to give families a firsthand look at how STEM concepts can be introduced in meaningful ways at an early age.
Located at 595 Bell Tavern Blvd. in Downingtown, the Kiddie Academy serves families throughout the surrounding community and emphasizes a balanced approach to child development, combining education, creativity, and social growth.
Admission to the open house is free, but families are encouraged to reserve their spot in advance.
