Club Mom: Chester County PA is hosting a meet up at Marsh Creek State Mark this Wednesday.
Local mothers and families will have the opportunity to unplug and enjoy the outdoors next week, thanks to this nature-focused event. The group will be holding a “Friends of the Outdoors” meet-up on Wednesday, June 18.
Founded as a Facebook community group, Club Mom supports mothers across Chester County by organizing a wide variety of social activities; from playdates and walking groups to library meetups and moms’ nights out. The “Friends of the Outdoors” meet-up is one of the group’s latest initiatives, designed to promote screen-free time and meaningful social interaction in a natural setting.
The event is open to all ages, and depending on interest, similar meet-ups may be held at other outdoor locations throughout the summer.
The group will meet at Marsh Creek State Park’s boat launch. Don’t forget to pack clothes, bathing suits, and sunscreen! You and your kiddos can play in the water, get some sunshine, and enjoy a nutritious picnic.
