Basketball fans and community members are invited to kick off the excitement of the NCAA tournament when the Matt Gorham Team hosts its annual March Madness fundraiser on Monday, March 16 at Lione’s Pizza Restaurant & Bar.
The event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., inviting families, friends, and local residents to gather for a casual evening centered around the excitement of the college basketball tournament while supporting an important cause.
For a minimum $25 donation, attendees will receive a March Madness bracket entry, access to a pizza buffet, drinks, and a lively atmosphere filled with basketball fans and local real estate professionals. All proceeds from the event will benefit United Way, with the Gorham team matching every dollar donated, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution.
The event has become a popular annual tradition in the Downingtown community. Last year’s gathering raised more than $7,000 for charity, and organizers say they are hoping to surpass that total in 2026.
Designed as a family-friendly night out, the fundraiser combines the fun of filling out tournament brackets with the opportunity to give back to the community. Guests can enjoy unlimited pizza and drinks while cheering on their picks and connecting with neighbors.
Those unable to attend in person can still participate by donating virtually. Contributions can be made via Venmo to @Matt-Gorham-5, and donors will receive a link to participate in the bracket challenge from home.
Community members interested in attending can reserve their spot through Eventbrite.
