Happy Spring & Happy Spring Housing Market!

Across our area we are finally starting to see the spring housing market start to BLOOM! Buyers are getting back out, schedules are filling with showings, and new listings are beginning to hit the market again.

What We’re Seeing Right Now:

  • More buyer movement week over week
  • Increased showing activity compared to late February
  • Sellers preparing homes now for April launches
  • Both ne buyers and those serious buyers who stayed active through winter

What This Means for Sellers:

If you’ve been waiting, your timing may actually be working in your favor.

The delayed start to the spring housing market means:

  • Less early competition from other listings
  • Buyers who are eager and ready after weeks of waiting
  • A chance to enter the market right as demand ramps up

Preparing now, before the late April/May surge, can position your home to stand out!

What This Means for Buyers:

For buyers, this window is important.

Right now:

  • Inventory is still relatively limited
  • Competition hasn’t peaked yet
  • You have an opportunity to get ahead of the crowd

But as more buyers re-enter, expect:

  • Faster-paced decisions
  • Stronger competition on well-priced homes
  • Less room for hesitation

The Bottom Line

The snow may have delayed the spring housing market, but it didn’t change it. And now in 19335 we are seeing that delay dissipate and the housing market is in bloom — with renewed energy, motivated buyers, and sellers taking advantage of the momentum!
