Welcome to this Month’s Real Estate Round Up in 19335!
By: Karen Boyd, Long & Foster
Each month, 19335GO! partners with Long & Foster agent Karen Boyd to bring the community insight into the current housing market in the Greater Downingtown area.
The Downingtown housing market in November continued to show steady activity, even as we move into the traditionally slower Winter season.
Buyer demand remains present, but inventory has tightened slightly. Homes that are well-priced and well-presented are still attracting strong interest, though showing activity naturally tapers as the holidays approach. For sellers this means a smaller-but-motivated buyer pool and less competition; for buyers it means more room for thoughtful decision-making. Winter may be slower in our area, but opportunities remain strong for those ready to make a move!
Cheers to you & yours at this start of the Holiday Season!

INSIDER TIP: Looking to sell in early 2026? Now is the time to start with the “invisible” prep buyer notice first, and these are also the biggest value boosters: have serviced and/or inspected your HVAC, roof, fireplace & chimney, plus have minor plumbing and electrical tune-ups completed.
