As fall approaches, one of Chester County’s most anticipated community fundraisers is preparing to welcome guests for an evening that blends great food, local flavor, and a meaningful mission.

Brandywine Valley Active Aging will host its annual Moo & Brew & Grapes Too on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Historic Buck Run Farm. The event has grown into a staple for residents in and around Downingtown, offering a lively, festival-style alternative to the traditional beef-and-beer fundraiser.

A Flavorful Evening with Something for Everyone

Moo & Brew delivers a well-rounded experience designed to appeal to a wide audience. Guests can enjoy unlimited beer and wine tastings alongside a hearty, smokehouse-inspired menu featuring brisket, ribs, chicken, and vegan options.

Live entertainment adds to the energy of the evening, with performances from local band Roger That and music from DJ Crystal keeping the atmosphere upbeat. Attendees can also take part in raffles and prize drawings, with packages ranging from wine and beer selections to experiential gifts.

Supporting Older Adults Across the Region

Beyond the food and festivities, the event serves a larger purpose. Proceeds benefit Brandywine Valley Active Aging, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults 50 and older throughout the Downingtown and Coatesville areas.

Through wellness programs, educational opportunities, and social engagement initiatives, the organization helps older adults remain active, independent, and connected to their community. Events like Moo & Brew play a critical role in sustaining those services.

A Scenic Setting Close to Downingtown

Set against the backdrop of Historic Buck Run Farm, the event offers sweeping views of Chester County’s countryside. The restored barn and surrounding grounds create a relaxed, welcoming environment—making it an ideal spot to gather with friends, coworkers, and neighbors.

Its convenient location near Downingtown makes it an easy evening outing for local residents looking to enjoy a night out without traveling far.

Plan Your Visit

Tickets are $60 and include food, drinks, and access to all entertainment and activities. The event will be held rain or shine, and early registration is encouraged as attendance continues to grow each year.

For those in the Downingtown area, Moo & Brew offers a chance to enjoy a fun, community-focused evening while supporting programs that make a lasting difference for older adults across Chester County.
