While we all love our furry friends, we may not be so fond of everything they come with. Cuddling them late at night? Yes. Taking them on walks or to the beach? Love it! Scooping their poop? Not so much.
That’s where We Scoop Poop comes in. The business was created by co-owners Mike Sereny and Sarah Rybacki. Their pup Hazel is the official leader of the trio, holding the title of “Chief Excrement Officer.”
After graduating from East Stroudsburg University in May 2023, Sereny and his partner launched MUTTch Better Dog Walking & Pet Services LLC. As the business grew more and more, they realized there was a common problem that their clients had.
“Many busy pet owners simply didn’t have the time to keep up with cleaning their yards.” Sereny explained. “Seeing an opportunity to help, we introduced pet waste removal as an additional service.”
The waste removal service quickly gained popularity. “We decided to establish it as its own dedicated service with separate branding, and that’s how We Scoop Poop was born!”
We Scoop Poop provides top-tier dog poop scooping services to keep yards clean and stress-free. That’s not all though. On top of removing waste, We Scoop Poop also provides pet waste station installation and maintenance, ensuring local communities stay clean for both pet owners and other residents.
“To go the extra mile, we offer yard disinfectant and sanitation services, helping to eliminate bacteria and odors so pets and families can enjoy a fresh, clean outdoor space.” Sereny said.
We Scoop Poop works to promote a cleaner, healthier environment and base their services on reliability and community.
“Dog waste isn’t just a nuisance; it’s a health hazard. By keeping yards and common areas clean, we’re helping create a safer space for pets and families.” said Sereny.
The business takes on both residential and commercial clients, as poo does not discriminate. Their customer’s needs vary, but We Scoop Poop’s commitment to convenience and cleanliness doesn’t. Many of their customers are busy families who love their dogs, but don’t have the time to keep up with their yard. Other clients are elderly individuals who struggle to bend down and scoop. And, as Sereny said, “Some just like leaving the dirty work to us!”
On the commercial side, the business works with HOAs, townships, and apartment complexes. There, they install and maintain pet waste stations and focus on common areas, beautifying the space for all residents to enjoy.
“One of the biggest complaints in HOA communities is — you guessed — dog poop everywhere! That’s where we come in to save the day… and their shoes.” Sereny joked.
We Scoop Poop recognizes that not all needs are the same. That’s why clients can customize the services they receive. The team will work on any frequency basis that is requested.
“Some customers need weekly cleanups, while others with multiple dogs prefer twice or even three times a week.” Sereny explained. “Some opt for bi-weekly services. Right now, we’re especially busy with one-time spring cleanups — which tend to be big jobs.”
No matter what schedule is needed, Sereny ensures customers that him and his team are here to keep yards fresh and poop-free.
We Scoop Poop’s cleaning process is simple but effective and efficient. They scoop the poop, securely bag it up, and dispose of it in the client’s trash can.
“We use tools such as rakes, shovels, and scoopers to ensure thorough cleanups.” Sereny said. “For customers who request it, we also sanitize and deodorize the yard to eliminate bacteria and odors as an add-on service.”

Currently, the team has 16 scoopers and is looking to grow. With more people discovering that this service is available, the more yard-changing work is being done by We Scoop Poop.
The business recently reached a milestone of servicing 300 clients per week. Poop never stops and neither is Mike Sereny, Sarah Rybacki and their team.
“We plan to expand our service area because this is such a unique service that so many communities don’t have—and once people realize how helpful it is, they love it.” Sereny said.
If you haven’t had the chance to meet the dynamic team yet, you can this summer. We Scoop Poop is planning to sponsor and attend the Good Neighbor Day at Kerr Park. “We love being involved in community events and connecting with fellow pet lovers.” said Sereny.
Some of their other favorite spots are La Sponda and Patty’s Place. CEO Hazel enjoys Lloyd Park, where she can take long walks and make new friends!
When he’s not working with poo, Mike Sereny enjoys golfing, fishing, jogging, and spending time outdoors with Hazel.
We Scoop Poop provides services Monday through Saturday from. 8 AM to 6 PM. Sundays are open based upon scooper availability.
