Downingtown Strong, a grassroots organization focusing on aiding residents who have been affected by natural disasters or emergencies, is hosting a Family Paint Night on Saturday, May 3.
In 2021, the Downingtown area was severely impacted by Hurricane Ida flooding. In 2023, Downingtown Strong was created to provide support and relief for such situations.
Support looks different for everyone. Some may need temporary aid, such as food or shelter following an emergency. Others might be in need of long-term support, like housing or childcare.
Downingtown Strong’s Paint Night is perfect for the whole family to enjoy and unleash their creative spirit. Don’t worry – no art experience is necessary! Instructors will guide the group throughout the process, so everyone can leave with a beautiful piece of artwork.
Tickets are $35, which includes your supplies. Supplies include a canvas, paint and paint brushes, and an apron to protect your clothing. Bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and make it a night to remember!
