Enjoy a summer stroll through Downingtown gardens on August 23 from 4 – 6 PM with Restore Our Roots, a local grassroots movement that works to protect native flora and beautify our parks.
The organization, in partnership with MSE Landscape Associates and Dressler Estates, is hosting the garden tour as a fundraiser. The tour will take place throughout a Downingtown neighborhood, near Marinelli Park. Attendees will learn about home landscape and how to make your space more pollinator friendly.
Restore Our Roots will lead the walk through the Downingtown gardens, highlighting the beautiful trees that line the streets perfectly. Chat with homeowners about their landscaping choices and visit their own yards for inspiration you can utilize in your own home garden!
The cost is a pay-what-you-wish donation that supports Restore Our Roots’ mission of restore wildlife habitat throughout Downingtown Borough. It was also lend a helping hand to accredit our town as a National Wildlife Federation Community Habitat.
Space is limited. Register here by August 22.
