The Borough will present The Love of “Comedy” on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at The Borough, 149 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, PA 19335. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and the show starts at 6:30 PM, offering audiences an evening of sharp stand-up, storytelling, and unforgettable characters.
Headlining the show is NY’s Kenny Williams, a veteran stand-up comedian from Queens, New York, known for his sharp, high-energy club sets and decades of work across TV, film, and web series. Williams has performed extensively throughout the New York comedy scene and on national and international stages, including comedy clubs, colleges, churches, Rikers Island correctional facilities, and U.S. military bases in South Korea, London, Germany, and Amsterdam. His screen credits include appearances on Def Comedy Jam, BET’s ComicView, Showtime at the Apollo, and the acclaimed web series “Money & Violence.”
The night will also feature “America’s Funniest Handyman” Tommy Highland, a stand-up comedian, actor, and tradesman who blends real-world construction and home-repair experience with observational and storytelling comedy. A working headliner with more than a decade of stage experience, Highland brings practical building knowledge and high-energy humor to clubs and theaters, drawing on job-site stories, home repair mishaps, and blue-collar life. His background includes drama/theater studies (with SDSU cited in his materials), work in the building trades since his early twenties, headlining sets at venues such as the Milton Theatre in Delaware, and a supporting film role in “Worst Halloween Ever” (2015).
Also performing is Kirsten Michelle Cills, a Philly-born stand-up comedian, actor, podcaster, and docuseries subject known for her dark, dry humor, her onstage oxygen tank, and fearless material about living with cystic fibrosis. Cills transforms her experiences with terminal illness and surviving 9/11 into sharp, uncomfortable, and very funny comedy that challenges how audiences respond to sickness, trauma, and death. Raised between the Philadelphia area, Manhattan, and Horsham, she studied acting at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and began stand-up during her senior year, inspired in part by late-night comedy and hosts like Jimmy Fallon.
Rounding out the lineup is Comedian Ed (Edward) Daniels, a stand-up comic based in or from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, whose style is described as “story telling with punchlines.” His narrative, personal approach on stage builds engaging stories that lead to hard-hitting jokes, adding a grounded, relatable voice to the evening’s mix of talents.
The show will be hosted by Ms. Darkchild, guiding the audience through a night that blends club-tested television talent, blue-collar humor, and boundary-pushing personal storytelling.
