VFW Post 845 is inviting local musicians to take the stage this fall as it hosts its upcoming “Battle of the Bands” competition.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, and will feature seven selected bands competing live for a $2,000 grand prize and the title of “Champion.” Two additional bands will be chosen as alternates.
Designed as a high-energy showcase of local talent, the competition promises an engaging experience for attendees, with a variety of musical styles and performances taking the stage throughout the evening. Guests can expect a lively atmosphere as bands go head-to-head, bringing their best sound and stage presence in hopes of earning top honors.
Beyond the competition itself, the event aims to bring the community together for an evening centered around live entertainment and local pride. Organizers say the goal is to create a memorable experience for attendees while highlighting the depth and diversity of musicians in the region.
Additional details, including event timing and judging criteria, are expected to be announced closer to the event date.
